Newsweek is portraying Obama, on its cover, as the Hindu Goddess Shiva….
…replete with a bold headline saying “God of All Things.”
Now that’s a real humdinger.
Is it lost on them that Shiva is the Hindu Goddess of the Destruction of the Universe?
Or, considering the fact that Obama is holding a globe in one of his six arms in the cover photo, are they trying to tell us something?

Shiva is a Hindu god, not a goddess. Although many English sources use the term “Destroyer”, a better translation is “Transformer”, which is more consistent in both grammar and myth. I could care less about the idiot-in-chief, but would it kill people to learn the basics about a religion that is 3000+ years old and practiced by about 900 million people (that is, three times the number of Americans in the world)?
