Isn’t that sweet of the Obama-messiah and his new sidekick, Comrade Ho (aka Hilarious Clinton)?
They are going to give away nearly a billion dollars in “humanitarian and rebuilding aid” to the Palestinian Authority, to help rebuild Gaza.
Let’s see now. I want to make sure I have this straight:
First, the U.S. borrows billions of dollars from the bankers to give high-powered weapons to Israel, at U.S taxpayer expense. Then, the Palestinians shoot a couple of homemade rockets costing about a buck and a half into Israeli territory. And Israel then uses the billions of dollars worth of weapons we gave them to inflict hundreds of millions of dollars worth of damage and carnage onto the Palestinian infrastructure.
Then, in the middle of the worst financial crisis in U.S. history, the Obama-messiah puts U.S. taxpayers on the hook for another billion dollars to have everything the Israelis bombed into oblivion rebuilt. And then we re-arm Israel, once again at U.S. taxpayer’s expense. Then the Palestinians shoot a couple of homemade rockets costing about a buck and a half into Israeli territory. And…well…you get the picture.
The cycle of violence continues, ad nauseum. U.S. taxpayers continue to go deeper and deeper into debt, owing money as far as the eye can see into future generations. Over time, the bankers make billions of dollars off the backs of the hard-working U.S. taxpayers who are forced to pay the interest payments this un-repayable pile of debt that has now reached into the trillions of dollars. (Yes, the gross national debt is now a mind-boggling $10 trillion, and the interest payments on that debt are paid solely by the U.S. taxpayers.)
Our people have become tax slaves to rich men behind the scenes who have a vested interest in keeping the cycle of violence in the middle east going.
Hey…it’s a sweet deal, folks, if you can get in on it. But if you’re the payee (i.e., taxpayer) it really sucks. And what more can you say? All hail the Obama-messiah, who has come to make all things riight!
U.S. (taxpayers) to Give $900 Million for Gaza Reconstruction
Monday, February 23, 2009
JERUSALEM — The United States is preparing to donate more than $900 million for the reconstruction of Gaza, a U.S. official said Monday, as U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton prepared to attend a donors conference for the war-ravaged territory next week.
Israeli and Palestinian officials said earlier Monday that Clinton will visit Israel and the West Bank during the first week of March for her first trip to the region as America’s top diplomat.
Clinton said during her Asia trip this month that she would attend an international donors conference in Egypt on March 2 to discuss reconstruction in Gaza.
She provided no other details, but a U.S. official in the United States said Monday that the Obama administration’s donation will likely top $900 million in humanitarian and rebuilding aid to the Palestinian Authority to help Gaza recover from Israel’s offensive against Hamas last month.
The official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because the donation had not received final approval, said the exact amount was still to be determined.
The official added that the aid would not go to Hamas. U.S. officials have no formal contacts with the Islamic militant group Hamas, which runs a separate Palestinian administration in the Gaza Strip.
The Israeli officials, meanwhile, said Clinton will arrive in Israel on March 2 for meetings with the country’s top leaders. Israel is currently ruled by a caretaker government as Likud Party leader Benjamin Netanyahu cobbles together a new coalition.
The Israeli officials spoke on condition of anonymity because the visit had not been announced by the State Department, which has not released Clinton’s schedule for next week.
Yasser Abed Rabbo, a senior aide to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas, said Clinton also would visit the West Bank during her stay.
