Jeremiah Wright was Obama’s pastor for 20 years. According to ABC News, Wright not only married Obama to his wife Michelle, but he “baptized their two daughters and is credited by Obama for the title of his book, ‘The Audacity of Hope.’”
Here, he openly admits he teaches Black Liberation Theology, and that this is directly akin to socialism. He reads a passage from the book of Micah in the Bible and claims that it is America that God is talking about rebuking in that passage.
He further claims Micah the prophet was black, and that his writing is “black liberation theology.” Finally, he derides capitalism and Christianity, stating that Micah’s preaching is Marxist/Socialist in nature!
